Andrei Bostiog is Commercial Director at AAC Group and director of RTB Workforce. He builds and runs construction crews for data centre sites across Europe, and sets up the local companies needed to employ them properly wherever the work goes next.
I am Romanian, based in Dublin. I started on a construction site at sixteen, as a labourer for a UK contractor, and stayed on the tools long enough to learn what a good foreman looks like and what a bad one costs. In 2023 I founded Romanian Talent Builders and RTB Infrastructure in London. We supplied crews to main contractors on university, residential and civils projects across the city.
Data centres pulled me in. At the conferences in Frankfurt, London and Cannes I kept hearing the same thing from the people who build them: the money is there, the people are not. So I moved to Ireland and set up companies in Germany and the Netherlands so that Romanian crews are employed locally, not posted.
RTB Workforce is my own company, and it stands for one idea. Europe is building its data centres with Romanian hands. A million Romanians work in construction across the continent, and most of them are invisible: a rate per hour on an agency invoice, a bunk in a house nobody inspects. I know these men because I was one of them at sixteen. They are the most valuable workforce in European construction, and almost nobody treats them that way.
So the plan is European: Romanian construction crews, every trade a data centre needs from the ground up, wherever they are being built, from the Rhine-Main to the Nordics, employed locally, housed properly, trained, and kept on site for twelve months rather than six weeks. RTB Workforce is the name European contractors trust when they need Romanian crews, and the name Romanian workers trust when they go abroad. Everything on this site is written towards that.
